The darkest hour,
A moment's lour,
Bitten by a hoard of fear,
I found you with a light,
Each time,
By my side.

A tear that dropped,
That you held in your fist,
With a belief,
That i was much stronger,
Than i was ought to be,
In my eye,

A friend or a foe,
Anyone that came with a blow,
Your belief in my despair,
That i could stand them all,
With you standing by,
By my side.

Our happiness doubled,
Our sadness halved,
With just an illusion of voice,
With coincident turnings,
To find you,
By my side.

Our lame fights,
With not much might,
Our unconditional bonding,
Without a taint of the past,
Brought back you to me,
By my side.

Your serene presence,
In every absence,
Unseen and Unheard,
For just "being there",
Is all about being,
By "Our" sides !
