I lost words for the chased dreams,
Yet, a never realised happiness I found,
Each time and over, with you,

Ditched in the eye,
Shortlived you were,
Bloomed a flower, I thought,

Courage and compromise mustered,
Yet, strange is life, patience it tests.

A love found, a love lost,

Mocked at me and chuckled,
